STRICT TECH DEPARTMENT CRACKED DOWN ON THE WINNERS AT THE SEGA PIEDMONT RACE.
In the staging lanes just before semi finals every car got a surprise fuel check. After the winners circle celebration all gas class cars were followed back to their pits and a surprise tear inspection was performed by the Southeast Gassers Association 5 man tech department. The cars were checked for any type infraction of the very strict SEGA rules and also a cubic inch inspection was done to every car. We have always kept a close eye on the cars and did random tear down's but the SEGA is getting so big it's going to have to happen more often. Sorry but the honor system just don't work when racers are as serious about winning as they are in the SEGA.
When a championship is on the line some racers will stop at nothing to win and we want to assure each racer and fan that every car racing at an SEGA event is complying to the same strict rules.
